Caving Training Facilities

Work is now well underway at Leeming Farm, with the main structure of the building now fully installed. By the 1st April we hope to have all the rigging in, presenting plenty of scope for Advanced SRT, rigging of Pitch Head and traverse lines, with simple and more advanced scope for deviations and rebelays. At 9 metres high it provides fantastic scope for the Local Cave and Mine Leader Award Level 2 Training syllabus.

We hope to be running a range of courses from the Training Centre throughout the year, with provision of all Technical equipment including full SRT rigs.

Level 2 Cave and Mine Leader Training, 3 day
Level 2 Cave Leader SRT refresher, 1 and 2 day, day 2 when run will be underground.
Level 2 Cave Leader Rescue practice, 1 day

Single Rope Technique for beginners, 1 and 2 day, day 2 when run will be underground
